Sons of Little Italy Picnic 2008

On Sunday, August 10 of 2008, the Erie Times-News published the following  article by Liz Allen about the annual Sons of Little Italy Picnic, an event started by Joe Riazzi and Frank Ferrare that has been going strong for 16 years. About 350 members of the Sons of Little Italy planned to attend the picnic at St. Paul Catholic Church from noon to 6:00 p.m. The $17 donation to attend the picnic goes to charity.

This is another great example of the fellowship and sense of dedication to the community that the Historic Little Italy project hopes to nurture in order to revitalize the neighborhood.
