	Commence redevelopment of the Continental Rubber Works block.
	Update the list of vacant and/or available properties and provide it to appropriate Economic Development agencies.
	Explore ways to expand existing market niches, primarily the ethnic foods and eateries and automotive repair business niches.
	Continue the local Retention & Expansion program efforts.
	Work with ED partners, especilaly Gannon's Retail Recruitment Specialist, to actively recruit new businesses into the neighborhood, as well as condier talking with successful local businesses in other sections of the City regarding starting a branch in HLI.
	Develop an RFP for a developer for a diner on lots 542-548 West 18th Street, including the market study and Revitalization Strategy, and disseminat it to local developers and other interested parties; Hold a pre-proposal meeting with the prospects.
	Work with ERA to recruit a developer for the new diner and begin negotiation, site control, design, financing options, etc.
	Continue with new commercial building construction.
	Remind business owners regularly about the Revolving Loan Fund program.
